Welcome to the personal on-line Living Room of
Nete Schmidt and
Larry Jorgenson. The white, plastered, brick walls in here are crowded with books and magazines. Out of those many, we have selected a few pick and click pages on a variety of subjects that we heartily recommend, and we invite you to peruse them at your leisure. In addition to the bookcases, there's a comfy sofa on one side of the room, a Russian piano to your right as you walk in, and behind the door is the much discussed Italian guitar that Larry received for his birthday. Never mind the clutter. We're both teachers, and are always correcting essays.
Although located in the heartland of provincial Denmark, this Living Room has remarkably little to do with its geographical place in the cosmos. A quick glance through our shelves will tell you we are both enthusiastic and discriminating in our love for American and English literature. Nete prefers women's literature, Shakespeare and the modern novel. Larry, on the other hand, relishes the exacting technique and form of poetry and the short story.
However, that's only a small part of this room. We also recommend dusting off a few
Other Things hyperlinks in the areas of computer tech, educational projects, NBA basketball, and Larry's guitars. Your comments and observations are welcomed, so come in and make yourself at home.
